Now that my undergraduate career is over, I’ve got more time to read for pleasure. That being said, I don’t want to set goals that are too lofty. Here is the list of books that I hope to read throughout the month, minus a select few that I will get into at a later time.
Total books: 4
Replica by Jenna Black (Book 1): as a book I borrowed from the library, I was very interested in the synopsis. However, I am partway through this story right now and am still struggling to finish it. I’ve given myself the first week of the month to finish this book before DNFing it for real.
The Star-Touched Queen by Roshani Chokshi (Book 1): Another library book I hauled in March, I’m still interested in getting to it. I’m hoping that I enjoy this read more than Replica even though I got them both from the library on a whim.
Keeper of the Lost Cities by Shannon Messenger (Book 1): This is a series I picked up after watching Regan (PeruseProject) on BookTube. She’s had nothing but good things to say about the book and most of the books she’s reviewed that I’ve read I’ve had similar opinions on. I’m excited to begin the series.
Bitten by Kelley Armstrong (Book 1): While I’ve already read the Women of the Underworld Series, I tend to reread them about once a year. This is my favourite series of all time, and has been for about 8 years now since I first picked it up. I’m looking forward to going through the world again as Armstrong remains one of my favourite authors of all time and I have yet to read something of hers that I haven’t liked.
